Wonderful staff and clean rooms!

My grandson and I had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed the cozy ambiance during our time at the jambalaya festival, where the local food scene truly shines. The breakfast offerings were fantastic, making for a great start to our days.

My kids wished the fitness room was open for them to use during our stay.

It was just a fitting option for a city holiday in Gonzales with good value. The staff was very helpful, making our stay comfortable. Check in early to avoid the busy afternoon rush.

I visited La Quinta in Gonzales for a quick stay. The staff here made me feel welcome right from check-in. Had a nice conversation with Kaylen. she was friendly and professional. The room featured a comfortable setup and was clean. I appreciated the daily fresh baked cookies in the lobby. However, the air conditioning unit in my room was quite noisy, which disturbed my sleep. The breakfast selection was decent but could use a bit more variety. The location is great for nearby restaurants and shopping, but the fitness room was closed for renovations. Overall, the stay was pleasant but needs some updates.

Not a great spot

Had a rough time here. The room smelled bad and the fridge didn’t work. We had to swap rooms, but the new one had stains on the sheets! The staff tried to help, but seriously, the place felt dirty. At least the snack bar was alright. Not sure I’d want to come back to this place.

I had a great visit here, enjoying clean and inviting rooms while being just a few steps from fantastic restaurants like Firehouse Subs and Tang Buffet, perfect for a quick bite before my explorations.

Let's talk food first! MOOYAH Burgers just down the road is a flavor bomb, and Tang Buffet is more than just a stop. it’s a feast! Plus, the friendly staff we encountered—like the lady working with the contractors—made everything smoother despite the renovations.

On the flip side, we had a bit of excitement with broken windows and some dingy vibes around the dog walk. Also, don't expect a chill shower—the water temp was all over the place. Gonzales keeps it interesting!
